Bauchi State government has approved the memorandum for the establishment of Bauchi Mingsheng company to explore more opportunities through job creation and improving its internally generated revenue.
This was disclosed by the state commissioner of Ministry of Natural Resources Development Alhaji Mohammed Maiwada Bello in a press statement issued to Eagle Radio by the information officer of the ministry, Sale Umar.
Alhaji Bello stated that the initiative was born out of the state government’s commitment to open Bauchi for investment.
The statement said this new development was a result of Governor Bala Muhammad ‘s visit to Shandong province of China to attract investors.
He said the trip has started yielding significant results that lead to the signing of Memorandum of Understandings with various companies with the State Government especially in mining, agriculture, tourism and other sectors.
Alhaji Maiwada Bello said this initiative highlights the government’s commitment to fostering public – private partnerships and diversifying the state’s economy.
The commissioner expressed optimistic that if properly managed, the company could drive innovation, attract investment and improve living standard for the people of the state.
According to him, the establishment of the Bauchi-Mingsheng company represents a significant move toward economic growth and development, stressing that it is expected to contribute to job creation and enhance the state’s internally generated revenue.
The commissioner assured that his Ministry will not relent in it’s efforts to lead other sections of arms of government in generating revenue to the state.
